Vintage after vintage, Sojourn Cellars consistently crafts beautiful, intensely flavored Pinot Noir and this wine is more of the same. A cuvee of eight unique lots, this wine is rich, well-structured, and complex with flavors of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry. A backbone of spice and earth holds it all together and makes this wine a total crowdpleaser. Pair with cedar plank salmon or braised chicken. Aged in 50% new French oak.
Sojourn Cellars makes small lots of stunning wines.
Based in the town of Sonoma, Sojourn Cellars specializes in the production of artisan Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. They source fruit from celebrated vineyards in both Sonoma and Napa Counties, and help direct farming operations to assure that their grapes are treated with the highest level of attention. Although Sojourn's label is quite relaxing, the people behind the winery work tirelessly to hand craft award winning wines. Simply put, these are some of the best Pinots we've come across.More from this winery
Are the wines any good? Yes, they are and we taste every wine that is considered for our site. We seek out the best wines from the best small-producers in the U.S. and Winestyr is a collection of our favorites. Most of the wines have impressive accolades, however, don't look for "expert" ratings here - we think it's more important to buy wines you find interesting and to decide for yourself. On the fuller bodied end of the Pinot spectrum, I enjoyed that this wine wasn’t too thin. Very fruit forward and jammy, berries are present. I enjoyed more than my husband, though. Would buy again.
Friendly wine that I would have at gatherings. Very good.
good, a liitle on the sweet side.
One of my favorite pinot’s.
