Not only does Tallulah produce some of my favorite Syrahs year in and year out, but I also love the wines made from fruit grown at Shake Ridge Ranch. This wine is like a glorious clash of the two and the results are, frankly, what I expected. Rich, full bodied with ample dark berry flavors, with complementing notes of forest floor, Black pepper, herbs, spice, and oak. A long, rich finish will keep you coming back for more. This is a very well made wine. Aged for 20 months in 30% new French Oak Burgundy barrels. Racked only once prior to bottling unfined and unfiltered. 100% Syrah. 348 cases produced.
