There is a reason that this estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in the foothills of the Sonoma Valley, is always a member favorite year after year. The wine is full bodied, rich and round in texture with notes of vanilla, cassis, and ripe plum. Robust tannins carry through to a long, pleasant finish.
Ty Caton returned to his hometown of Sonoma in 1997 determined to turn his family's 108 acre ranch, located in the prestigious Moon Mountain District AVA, into a prime vineyard. Today, 40 of the 108 acres are planted to wine grapes, and they produce about 10,000 cases of critically acclaimed wine per year. These special wines truly express the quality of the fruit grown on their land high in the Mayacamas Mountains.
