Yet another blockbuster wine from this up and coming producer. This cuvée always features hallmark Cabernet fruit sourcing but in 2017, winemaker Keith Emerson included a touch of Merlot as well. If you're drinking this tonight, make sure to give it some time in the decanter to soften up those tannins. Otherwise, cellar for the next 10-15 years if you'd like.
Vineyard 36 was created by a shared vision and a common goal to create unique and exceptional wines. Sourced from premier estates, the Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines of Vineyard 36 express the diversity of Napa Valley's finest terroirs.
A project spearheaded by wine industry veteran Jason Earnest, and professional hockey players Cam Ward and Tim Gleason, Vineyard 36 produces stunning Cabernet Sauvignon based wines made with fruit sourced from some of Napa Valleys finest vineyards. The wines are powerful, complex, elegant, and balanced. We're very excited to introduce you to their wines.More from this winery
Are the wines any good? Yes, they are and we taste every wine that is considered for our site. We seek out the best wines from the best small-producers in the U.S. and Winestyr is a collection of our favorites. Most of the wines have impressive accolades, however, don't look for "expert" ratings here - we think it's more important to buy wines you find interesting and to decide for yourself.
