In 2017, Keith Emerson put Syrah in the forefront and tuned down the Zinfandel to about one-quarter of the final blend. The result is a wine built for BBQ with its layers of smoke, black fruits, and chewy tannins. This is a wine ready to pop and enjoy right away.
