A fantastic, accessible Zinfandel - a bit more acid than many other Zins, which means this wine will go well with a variety of food and will never overwhelm whatever you're eating with it. A great Zin for those who like more acidic, less tannic wines. 83% Zinfandel, 17% Petite Sirah. 120 cases produced.
As the name suggests, Wine Guerrilla finds and procures some of the best Zinfandel grapes from each vintage and creates spectacular small-lot wines - saving the grapes from being blended into other mass-produced wines. Winemaker, Bruce Patch, sources grapes from small vineyards in Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley and Sonoma Valley. Many of the Guerrilla's wines have scored 90+ points and others have been produced from grapes grown on vines that are over 100 years old. This is a "must buy" for any Zinfandel fans out there. Pair your grilled meats with these wines and you will not be disappointed!
Are our wines any good? Yeah, they are. But don't look for "expert" ratings here - the wines we feature have excellent scores, but we think it's more important to buy wines with an occasion in mind. Rest assured, we've tasted everything we put on our site, and it's all good. Need some more specific recommendations?
