Yorba Wines is the house brand of the Kraemer family, the proprietors and winegrowers of Shake Ridge Ranch. Shake Ridge Ranch is a magical place high up in the hills of Amador County and the fruit - Syrah, Tempranillo, Barbera, Zinfandel, and a few others - are highly, highly sought after. 80% of the yearly production is sold to the likes of Favia, Keplinger, Forlorn Hope, Gallica, Tribute to Grace, and Dirty and Rowdy. 20% of the production is kept for the Yorba line of wines and they are completely stunning.
After proving her mettle, managing vineyards for Domaine Chandon and Swanson, she eventually moved into consulting with wineries and vineyards, including Cain, Calera, Hobbs and Shafer. Though she thrived in the industry, Ann longed for a chance to farm again. Shake Ridge Vineyards is proving a worthy, and demanding, subject for her passion. By custom-farming small vineyard blocks, Ann is able to provide Yorba and the other Shake Ridge winemakers the highest quality fruit.
