This Methode Champenois rosé, made up of about two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay from Adelsheim's estate vineyards, is a wine I look forward to trying every year. Aged for four years en tirage and disgorged last February, this wine shows the perfect balance of richness and freshness. What an incredible domestic sparkling wine this is!
Adelsheim (pronounced Addels-Heim) was founded in 1971 by David and Ginny Adelsheim with one pursuit: to create world-class wines in the undiscovered wine region that would later become Chehalem Mountains AVA, a venerable subregion of Oregon's famous Willamette Valley. One of the original, most influential, and most important producers of the region, Adelsheim has a long track record of producing some of the finest Burgundian-style Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays produced domestically. We're very proud to add some of their most exclusive wines to our portfolio.
