I can't say enough to express how much I love this wine year in and year out. 2011 was a tough growing season in Napa Valley, but for those who were patient, it was a beautifully expressive vintage and one that will likely be sought after in the future. This is potentially the best 2011 Napa Valley red wine I've tasted - powerful, sophisticated, and complex. I'd liken this wine to a perfectly fitted Tuxedo - it exudes confidence and finesse. Perfect for fans of Napa and Bordeaux alike. Aged in French oak for 20 months. 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Syrah, 15% Malbec, 11% Merlot.
Buoncristiani Family Winery is run by four brothers - Matt, Jay, Aaron & Nate - who were born and raised in the Napa Valley from a long lineage of Italian winemakers and wine lovers. They take pride in performing all aspects of enology, viticulture, wine production, and art design in order to share with you a true expression of their winemaking passion. Their motto is "quality not quantity" and Buoncristiani's wines are crafted without compromise.
