This is another great vintage of Division's Pinot Noir "Un" which has quickly become one of the bestselling wines in our entire portfolio. Delicate and expressive, this Pinot Noir evokes some of the flavor notes that have made red Burgundy so famous. Deep wild raspberry notes lead, but this wine has an intriguing backbone of earth, minerality, herbs, and spice. This Pinot punches way above its price point. 75% of the fruit that went into this wine came from organic or biodynamic vineyards. Aged for 10 months in 15% new French oak (and a tiny amount of Austrian oak). 791 cases produced.
Inspired by the wineries of Loire, Beaujolais, Burgundy, and the Northern Rhone where they first learned winemaking and viticulture, the urban winery creates Oregon and Washington wines including Pinot Noir, Gamay, Chardonnay, Rosé, Chenin, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Cot, Syrah, Grenache, and Sauvignon Blanc. Determined to make approachable and balanced wines though minimal manipulation, Kat and Tom have a passion to work with well farmed, terroir-expressive vineyards, many of which are organic and/or Biodynamic, celebrating the varietals the winemakers love to drink.
