Winestyr Review

In 2014, Sashi Moorman and Raj Parr made a decision that would change the future of Evening Land Vineyards: instead of blending the estate's best barrels into a top cuvée, a.k.a La Source, they decided that the vineyard blocks from the very top of Seven Springs were worthy of their own bottling. This 2015, a library release from a beautiful vintage, is ready to drink right now or hold in the cellar for another five years. 94 points Wine Spectator

What We Love

  • Prestigious vineyard site
  • Library release

This vineyard specific bottling is a transformational project from Sashi Moorman and Raj Parr.

Fruit from this exalted vineyard led Evening Land to receive Oregon's first 98pt scoring Pinot Noir from Wine Spectator and the wines have continued to garner critical acclaim from virtually every critic and publication.

Where are the ratings?

Are the wines any good? Yes, they are and we taste every wine that is considered for our site. We seek out the best wines from the best small-producers in the U.S. and Winestyr is a collection of our favorites. Most of the wines have impressive accolades, however, don't look for "expert" ratings here - we think it's more important to buy wines you find interesting and to decide for yourself. Need some specific recommendations? Chat us in the lower right box or send our lead curator an email at bob@winestyr.com.
