Paying homage to the 1845 Spanish land grant where the estate vineyard now sits. Rancho San Carlos de Jonata, is at the heart of Jonata’s mission. While much of Ballard Canyon is dedicated to Syrah and other Rhone varieties, Jonata’s focus on Bordelaise grapes sets it apart from neighboring vineyards. Just west of Jonata lie the Sta. Rita Hills, where The Hilt estate is creating a new legacy in one of America's hot spots for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
