The Keller Estate 2019 Oro de Plata Chardonnay is a nod to Chablis and other unoaked styles of racy, lip smacking Chardonnay. This is not going to lean into any creamy or toasty notes at all, staying much more aligned with stone fruit, mineral zest, and an almost saline finish.
Since taking over the reins in 1998, Ana Keller has guided this estate to near cult status amongst the most insightful Pinot Noir and Chardonnay collectors in the country. With Julien Teichmann in control of winemaking, the estate crafts wines truly reflective of terroir, resulting in balanced wines with grace and longevity. In 2013 Ana joined the Petaluma Gap WineGrowers Alliance's board and was instrumental in creating the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA) which was ultimately granted in 2018.
