From the beginning, LIOCO’s purpose was to explore California's more marginal, cool-climate growing sites, producing wines of elegance, restraint, and balance. Somehow, in the 15 years since, Matt Licklider has helped this project remain not just relevant, but at the forefront of California's New Wave. Matt and his wife, Sarah, have continued the pursuit together and produce wines from throughout Sonoma and Mendocino vineyards farmed sustainably and producing excellent fruit.
New brands have come and gone but here LIOCO stands. These wines have long been sommelier darlings because of their food friendly nature and you can still find them on many of the country’s premier restaurant wine lists.
