This is another exceptional wine from Oregon's Ovum Wines. Ranked as one of Wine & Spirits Magazine's top 100 wineries in the world in 2018, husband and wife team John and Ksenija house produce tiny lots of impeccable white wines with fruit from some of the most remote vineyards in Oregon. Fuller-bodied, with notes of citrus wrapped around a salty, mineral core, you'll be rewarded by letting this wine open up over the course of hours, and potentially days. This wine has great structure and so many layers of complexity that it rivals some of the exalted white wines of Germany. Like it's German and Austrian counterparts, this wine has the potential to develop with age for many, many years. 161 cases produced. 95pts and Editor's Choice from Wine Enthusiast.
Since 2011, husband and wife duo John and Ksenija Kostic House have worked with the likes of riesling, gewürztraminer, and muscat, setting out to celebrate Oregon's vibrant terroir and push past the limits of what American white wines were thought to be. This year, by way of EZY TGR, they added a Pinot Noir to their offerings in an effort to make sure that consumers could still enjoy "Reserve" level Pinot at a House-wine price...pun intended.
