This is a very impressive Riesling from Oregon's Ribbon Ridge AVA. Searing acidity is counterbalanced by residual sugar results in a wine that only has a hint of sweetness. A wonderfully round mouthfeel is highlighted by notes of lemon, pineapple, jasmine, and honey. The wine finishes crisp and clean with extremely satisfying salinity. This is a serious Riesling with great potential to age for those interested in cellaring. This wine would go well with a variety of foods, but duck and herb roasted Turkey would make a killer pairing. 94pts and "Cellar Selection" from Wine Enthusiast. 223 cases produced.
Since 2011, husband and wife duo John and Ksenija Kostic House have worked with the likes of riesling, gewürztraminer, and muscat, setting out to celebrate Oregon's vibrant terroir and push past the limits of what American white wines were thought to be. This year, by way of EZY TGR, they added a Pinot Noir to their offerings in an effort to make sure that consumers could still enjoy "Reserve" level Pinot at a House-wine price...pun intended.
