Always an exciting and experimental wine that I have been a devout supporter of for years now. Fermenting all of these grapes together gives the wine its hallmark lifted aromatics, wild flowers, and racy citrus. The wine is viscous and palate coating without being cloying. Every year I look forward to this wine from Ovum and every year it delivers.
Since 2011, husband and wife duo John and Ksenija Kostic House have worked with the likes of riesling, gewürztraminer, and muscat, setting out to celebrate Oregon's vibrant terroir and push past the limits of what American white wines were thought to be. This year, by way of EZY TGR, they added a Pinot Noir to their offerings in an effort to make sure that consumers could still enjoy "Reserve" level Pinot at a House-wine price...pun intended.
