Sourced from some of the oldest vineyards in all of Paso, The Other One showcases the diversity of the Glenrose Vineyard. This is a blend of two blocks, one from about 1,800 feet which receives more intense sunshine compared to the second, down around 1,300 feet. In glass this leads to a balance of lush black fruits with a mineral edge and a stern backbone to the wine.
Paix Sur Terre, French for "Peace on Earth," has quickly become one of Paso Robles’ most sought after and critically acclaimed wineries. They focus on balanced, mineral-driven wines made in small lots with fruit from some of the region’s best vineyards. Attention first went to their single vineyard Mourvedre wines but Ryan has shown that Paso can indeed produce world class white wines from grapes like Picpoul and Clairette Blanche.
