Winestyr Review

Wines from Savoy Vineyard always dance and drift between being savory forward and fruit forward. Peay's 2018 example is no different. The wine flashes a medley of bright and long winded red fruits before finishing with a cabinet stocked full of baking, jerk, and Szechuan spice. Beautiful in its youth, we'd expect the wine to develop elegantly over the next 10-15 years or with a few hours of air now.

Peay Vineyards

The winery is very much a family affair, with Nick Peay and his wife Vanessa Wong running the vineyards and winemaking, respectively, and Andy Peay directing sales and growing the business. Peay’s wines are most often allocated to Michelin-starred restaurants and the most discerning wine merchant shops around the country. We are thrilled to offer very limited quantities to our members.

I don't go out my way to drink Pinot Noir but this was pretty good and, more importantly, my wife liked it

Fruit forward. A little astringent but overall very good
