Winestyr Review

This is a soft and approachable Cabernet Sauvignon from Viluko's estate vineyard high in the Mayacamas Mountains. Dark fruit flavors and well-integrated oak lead to a fresh dose of minerality. Nicely layered, this wine is drinking well in its youth but has the potential and structure to age for 10+ years. Aged for 18 months in 10% new French oak, 90% second use French oak barrels. 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Malbec. 605 cases produced.

Viluko Vineyards

Viluko Vineyards is a true mountain winery producing intense and complex Cabernet Sauvignon and beautiful Sauvignon Blanc with fruit grown on their Estate Vineyard in the Mayacamas mountains. Acclaimed winemaker Timothy Milos works closely with the Arroyo family whose winemaking legacy began in Chile. The wines are stunning and this small-production winery is one to watch in the coming years.
