Fresh, pure, and bright, this Sauvignon Blanc was made with fruit from two estate blocks high up in the Mayacamas mountains which separate Sonoma County from Napa Valley. This wine is bursting with meyer lemon, grapefruit, and a hint of lemongrass. This wine did not undergo any malolactic fermentation and the lees was not stirred meaning this wine is pure, crisp, unadulterated Sauvignon Blanc with laser precision. Pair with lighter dishes or enjoy on its own. A great effort from Viluko Vineyards. 155 cases produced.
Viluko Vineyards is a true mountain winery producing intense and complex Cabernet Sauvignon and beautiful Sauvignon Blanc with fruit grown on their Estate Vineyard in the Mayacamas mountains. Acclaimed winemaker Timothy Milos works closely with the Arroyo family whose winemaking legacy began in Chile. The wines are stunning and this small-production winery is one to watch in the coming years.
